Wedding Style: Boho Hippie Dress
We are attending four weddings in the coming weeks (three in a row, then a two week break, and then one more). We had 8 weddings in total this year, including our own. Whew. I’m not complaining though, I fucking loooooove weddings. The dressing up, the dancing, the wholesome love-filled air—I can’t get enough. Plus the whole “getting to witness people you love make life-long promises to each other.”
This past weekend we drove up to New Hampshire for my cousin’s wedding in Milford. The drive was seriously breathtaking. The leaves were . And I don’t mean, like, when the cool kids say “shit was lit”. I mean that the leaves were literally fire colored. I grew up in California where we don’t have seasons, so the changing leaves are really special and unique to me.
I scored this beautiful navy prairie dress from my girl Noir Ohio at A Current Affair last month. If you love vintage and haven’t been to A Current Affair, get your shit together. It’s currently only in Los Angeles and New York City (twice a year), but worth the drive if you live anywhere near either city. It’s the best vintage show I’ve been to, and I’ve been to my fair share of vintage shows.
Pro Tip: Do not pair hook & eye boots with a lace-trimmed dress…if you want to keep your lace intact. I definitely did some damage to this hem on the dance floor.
