When I found this dress at my favorite thrift store, it had sleeves and was three sizes too big. But I took it to my trusty tailor and voilá! My biggest tip for hunting vintage is to remember alterations! Sleeves, collars, hems—these are all easy to remove or alter. When I’m thrifting I focus on finding unique prints and silhouettes and worry about the perfect fit later.
