If you haven’t heard of Reformation yet, you are in for a wonderful treat (and what rock have you been living under?!). If you have, and you aren’t already in love with them, you will be soon.
Reformation is a women’s ready-to-wear brand focusing on responsible manufacturing while using sustainable materials and methods. They source materials locally, or use vintage and deadstock fabrics for their collections. Which means they give a second life to fabric that may be destined for a landfill. Plus, some of these fabrics may be one-of-a-kind!
They also design and manufacture the majority of their products stateside, in downtown Los Angeles. Their factory boasts energy efficiency (wind power, LED lights, and on-site solar soon) and a robust recycling program: whenever you’re ready to clean out your closet, rather than throwing those old clothes away, send them to Ref—they’ll even front the shipping cost. You’ve probably heard me talk here and there about sustainability and the environmental impact of fast fashion, so companies like Reformation are near and dear to my heart.
Their vintage-inspired pieces are somehow both effortlessly timeless and acutely current, all at the same time. I think if I had to wear one brand for the rest of my life, Reformation would be it. That is a HUGE compliment coming from someone who switches up their style more often than they wash their hair.
The even have a petites collection, which makes this lil’ gal really happy.
The dress I’m wearing here is from last season, so unfortunately it’s no longer available. But I’ve gathered my faves from their current collection for your shopping pleaj below.
